Cynthia Jebitok (Galchild)















Cynthia, alias Galchild, is currently undertaking a degree in Agricultural Education and Extension at Chuka University. She is passionate about touching hearts through her gifts ( for her, inspiration is everything). cynthia is a young motivational speaker and a gifted writer. She writes poetry in form of poems, spoken word and music and also writes plays. She is also a talented actress and a junior blogger.

Advice: If I did survive yesterday how big is today to stop me? We will always thrive.
 As long as I still breathe my dreams shall live, and the same applies to you. My star is Lupita Nyong'o, and I love her favourite quote, "No matter where you come from, your dreams are valid."

Githinji is on the course of a degree in Environmental Science at Chuka University. He is a passionate and gifted writer. He majorly writes poetry but has a penchant for moral and motivational article-writing.

Kelvin Maina (Marquez)

















Kelvin, popularly known by his stage name Marquez, is a widely celebrated artist at Chuka University and beyond. His prowess in spoken word is unimaginable. He is the dream of every young artist at Chuka University. He also writes poems and is an excellent stage performer of both poems and spoken word. Moreover, Kelvin is an actor and an active zealous member of the Peace Ambassadors Kenya. He is the authour of 'The Untold Mental Tale'.


Maril Wangari

















Maril is apparently a Corporative Management student at Chuka University. She is a well-known writer whose work has been published in popular websites and magazines such as the Duara Magazine. she is a passionate writer of poems, majorly emotional love poetry and also writes fashion articles. She is a proud feminist and loves nature since it's her inspiration. She is also an actress performing with several theatre groups and a stage-performer of spoken word.

Varline Mindugu

















As he continues with his studies in horticulture at Chuka University, Varline has resorted to bless the souls of his peers with his soul-touching poetry. He does not just write from scratch, he writes from the heart. He believes that writing is the only way through which he can express his feelings. Varline majorly writes soul-touching poetry and occasionally writes articles.

Patrick Masudi (Renaissance Man)






















Masudi, also known as the Renaissance Man, is a student philosopher at Chuka University. He is practically a philosopher in the making, but a magnificent poet as well. His work in the field of writing is deeply grounded in philosophical discourse and the society. Besides poetry, Masudi is a playwright, writer and an actor. He is a freethinker and a nature enthusiast. He is the distinct author of the poems 'Take Me Back To Eden' and 'Democracy Conundrum and The gods'. Apart from being an active contributor to this blog, Masudi also runs the website List 13 and blogs at World In 360 Blog.

Advice: We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.

Joash Nyaundi

















Joash studies Education Arts (English and Literature) at Chuka University. He is well-known for writing romantic and love poems, and occassionally writes short stories about the social life. Alongside writing, he is a director of plays and spoken word. Joash is a strong believer in the power and authority exercised by the pen through an active mind.

David Mwangi

















David takes Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) at Chuka University. He is a staunch Christian and is passionate about reading and motivational speaking. He basically writes almost every genre of literature but is in love mostly with soul-touching writings.

Gloria is a celebrated writer and a current student of Bachelor of Commerce at Chuka University. She majorly writes poetry and has soared great heights in poetry. Her poem 'Unkillable Monster' was recently published Vanguard Literary Services anthology 'The Vanguard Book of Sexual and HIV Awareness'. She is also a renowned writer for Christian poetry and a strong believer in the gospel of Christ as well. She is a major contributor to this blog and as well blogs at Gloria Ronoh.

Clare Wachira

Clare is a student at Chuka Univerisity taking a bachelor's degree in Library Information and Services. She is a well-known writer who is an amazing performer as well. She is a key participant and actress in a number of theatre groups in Chuka, an attribute to her undoubtedly prowess in writing, performing and acute delivery. She is definitely a peculiar writer as her works are evidently diversified. Her piece 'What If' is her major source of fame and honour, and accompanied by her insight and eloquence, Clare is indeed the dream of every young poet in Chuka.


Jenniffer Mwangi

Jennifer, known by the art name Soniah, is an artist and currently a student of Education Arts at Chuka University. She does animations, word arts, and calligraphy perfectly. She is as well a staunch Christian and a believer in the gospel.

Steve Mogire (Wandez)

Steve is apparently a student of criminology and security studies (security option), at Chuka University. He is an avid reader and a prolific writer. He does all kinds of literary works, as well as songs. He is simply an artist whose major motivation is passion. His greatest encouragement is people's reaction to his works and the impact he imparts on them. Besides writing, Steve is a volley-baller, and enjoys watching movies and music. He is indeed a blessing to this team of passionate writers and artists.

Advice: No one should deem himself better than the other and therefore let's be patient because in a while all will be clear.
No matter what happens, we ought not ask why or how questions, rather we should ask what now questions.
